Development Services

We bring projects to life by finding and acquiring a site consistent with your vision. During the feasibility stage, we investigate site conditions and uncover potentially adverse conditions. Prior to commencing design, Dicon can also provide current market pricing and construction schedule information for the envisioned project to determine actual feasibility.

 

Pre-Construction

Our pre-construction services include estimating and budgeting... from providing preliminary cost estimates to submitting hard bids. Fast, accurate estimates (based on even the most preliminary design information) can be accommodated. Detailed reporting and scheduling systems allow the project team to anticipate and eliminate problems before they cause delays or cost increases, to modify work assignments if necessary, or to locate alternate material sources. The benefit.. on-time or accelerated delivery.

 

General Contracting

Organizing the perfectly matched team with diverse backgrounds and a broad amount of experience and expertise is our specialty. From managing all of the on-site construction activities or coordinating subcontractors and material suppliers to providing field staff and self-performing work, Dicon has over 36 years of acting as a traditional General Contractor. We have an extensive evaluation process to ensure that only the most qualified subcontractors and suppliers are awarded Dicon jobs. We take great pride in our General Contracting capabilities. From start to finish our client’s needs are our number one priority.

 

Construction Management

Our approach to construction management is to serve as an extension of our client’s organization. As the construction administrator for the owner, we utilize proven systems to ensure that project goals are met. Working with the owner and the architect/engineer during the earliest stages of planning, we help avoid costly design expenses. During construction, we maintain a supervisory staff at the job site to provide direction.
