Renovations took place throughout various locations in the hospital.  A conversion of the existing retail store and storage room into an exam room and group clinic room included mechanical/electrical renovations, as well as automatic doors and audio/visual equipment.  Demolition of the entire second floor took place to create a respiratory lab area including a new waiting area, nurse station, meds room, lab room and bed/observation rooms.  Complete demolition of the third floor included new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.  The third floor then was converted into several areas for individual suites for home care nursing, conference rooms, staff offices, therapy rooms, storage rooms, activity and dining rooms.  The third floor North and South wings now accommodate 38 patient rooms, central nursing and greeter area as well as observation stations, lounges, laundry areas and med rooms.  262 windows on the third and fourth floors were replaced.  Finally, on the fifth floor, patient rooms were converted into administrative staff offices. Construction included all new finishes as well as removal of all nurse call devices and medical gas lines.
