Jim has lived in Fremont, Nebraska for more than 25 years and has served as Dicon’s Lead Estimator since 2014. His construction career began nearly 30 years ago and has since provided the opportunity to build a wealth of experience. After serving in various superintendent and project management roles for nearly 10 years, Jim transitioned into estimating and has never turned back. His combined experience serves as a tremendous resource in providing true value for our clients.
Jim has worked in all sectors of commercial construction ranging from multi-family housing to commercial office, retail, educational, and healthcare projects. Whether prospecting a historical renovation or a large-scale new construction project, Jim will derive an approach that balances cost-effectiveness and overall functionality.
Jim collaborates with the project owner(s), architects, and engineers throughout the design phase in an effort to balance savings and structural integrity in deriving a final budget. He will be responsible for competitively bidding the project among sub-contracted trades and material providers.
Phil is a Fremont, Nebraska native who joined Dicon in 2015 and carries more than 35 years of experience spanning all facets of the construction industry. He oversees the project management, site supervision, contract administration, safety, and field labor divisions of the organization. Phil is responsible for each of these functions throughout the duration of each and every Dicon project.
As a licensed Class “A” General Contractor in the City of Omaha, Phil brings a tremendous balance of hands-on experience, team leadership, and customer service to Dicon. His ability to develop and implement processes and procedures specific to the variables of each project drives continuity and accountability across all stakeholders.
With more than 25 years in the construction industry, Royce has a wide variety of experience ranging from multi-family and senior housing facilities to retail and office spaces. In addition, he has extensive background in HVAC systems. As President, Royce is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of Dicon and also is involved in the marketing and sales areas. Royce served as Vice President of Operations, Project Manager, Chief Estimator and Project Estimator at Dicon before becoming President in 2003.
Josh is a Certified Public Accountant and joined Dicon in 2005 as the company’s Corporate Controller. He has since taken over the role of Chief Financial Officer and become a partner in the organization. Josh oversees all facets of the accounting and finance divisions of Dicon. This includes the continual oversight of cash flow management on each project Dicon oversees.
Josh holds more than 15 years of accounting and finance in the construction and real estate industries. His knowledge of the financial variables unique to each project allows Dicon team members, subcontractors, and consultants to remain in sync throughout the duration of a project.
Josh moved to Omaha when he was 18 to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha and has since remained while establishing his career and a family. Josh spends his down time with his wife and two sons and enjoys cycling, cross-fit, concerts, and pretty much all things related to music.
Patrick is the Director of Business Development at Dicon and carries more than 12 years of experience in sales and marketing, business development, and operations management. He is responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding upon client and partner relationships while engaging the community and creating brand awareness throughout the Midwest. Patrick works directly with clients, colleagues, and project stakeholders to streamline internal and external communication while ensuring overall objectives are achieved or exceeded. Whether instituting a relationship or prospecting a project, Patrick continually strives to match experience with opportunity.
Jim brings more than 34 years of experience in the construction industry ranging from site development to retail shopping centers. Jim is responsible for the overall direction and guidance of Dicon’s financial operations and its subsidiaries. Prior to being CEO, Jim served as Dicon’s President from 1986 to 2003 and before that was a Project Manager and Superintendent for Dicon on various commercial, retail and multi-family projects. As a founding Dicon team member, Jim strives to maintain lasting relationships with past, present and future clients.
