Motor Inn Garage
Located within a historic district along Leavenworth Street, the Motor Inn Garage is part of an intact cluster of commercial buildings associated with Omaha’s early streetcar network. The Leavenworth Street streetcar line operated from 1889 to 1947 and played an important role in the growth and development of the surrounding neighborhood.
The district’s one- and two-story commercial buildings, constructed primarily between 1916 and approximately 1940, reflect the modest architectural styles that were common in Omaha during the early twentieth century.
